Hey there! We’re halfway through the week…yeeeessss! Today is a special today as it is my wonderful, talented and amazing sister’s 24th birthday.
We celebrated her birthday this past weekend as it was her boyfriend’s birthday on the 3rd. We went to The Keg for a delicious dinner and then went to an escape room here in London. It was a blast.
After our adventures in the escape room we came back to our house and ate ice cream cake. Homemade ice cream cake (like I made the ice cream by hand without an ice cream maker…oh ya). It was chocolate peanut butter with mini peanut butter cups, an oreo base and a dark fudge layer topped with crushed peanuts, chocolate chips and more awesome stuff.
So Happy Birthday to my most favourite sister! She has been graciously putting up with all my wedding planning/everyday shenanigans and I’m lucky to have her by my side.
If you follow me on Instagram you already know, but I have the opportunity to do a pretty awesome shoot in a couple weeks time which means I need to dial things in just a wee bit on the diet front (AKA not eat the remaining ice cream cake in the freezer haha).
I’ve been adding in some extra HIIT/conditioning and just trying to watch my portions and stuff like that…nothing crazy. I’ll keep you posted on my progress and you can follow along on Instagram as I’ve been using the hashtag #PowerhouseLeanOut.
I filmed another grocery haul for you guys since some of you said you enjoyed the last one. It’s more food and rambling and non-sense so watch that and then look at my yummy eats from the past week or so.
Yes I suppose you could say we’re on a BBQ chicken kick but the summer weather just has me craving it. Well, I’m off to do some light conditioning, probably some skipping and bodyweight exercises. If you’re looking for an at home workout check out my collection HERE and get your sweat on.
