I have had a few people ask what it is that I eat on an average day and so I thought I would take some time to post a basic version of some of the things I usually find myself eating on a daily basis. Enjoy!

Breakfast

 My version of an egg mcmuffin

  • One whole Omega-3 egg & 1/4 cup of egg whites 
  • Whole wheat English muffin
  • Scoop of Protein Powder 

or a berry smoothie

  • 1/4 cup frozen blueberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen raspberries
  • 1/4 cup frozen spinach
  • 1 scoop protein powder

or

  • 1/3 cup steel cut oats
  • 1/4 cup raspberries
  • 1 scoop protein powder

I have any of these with a cup of black tea/coffee with almond milk and sweetener
In the morning I also take my fish oil and other vitamins/supplements


Mid Morning Snack

  • 1 cup of grapes (appx)
  • 1 sugar free/fat free yogurt cup (I like Yoplait Source dessert selections)

or

  • 1 apple
  • 12-15 almonds

 Lunch

  •  Spinach salad with:
    • 2 hard boiled eggs
    • 1.5 ounces cheese
    • 1 tablespoon olive oil dressing

      Mid Afternoon Snack

    • Turkey sausage

    or

    • 2 clementines
    • 1 scoop protein powder

    or

    • 1/2 can salmon/tuna mixed with 1 tbsp olive oil mayo


    Dinner

    • 1 grilled chicken breast
    • Cauliflower mash or 1/4 cup of brown rice if I’m not low carb’n it
    • Green beans

    or

    • 1/2 cup ground beef
    • Sweet potato ‘fries’

    This is just a very basic sample of what I may eat in a day. I change it up all the time as variety is my key to staying on track.
