Hey hey! We are so close to the weekend! We’re not up to anything crazy, in fact Steve hasn’t been feeling well since earlier this week, but I am supposed to go out for dinner with the girls on Saturday which is always fun. It’s even more fun because Londonlicious is on right now so we can try a more upscale restaurant without the price tag.

While I love going out for a nice dinner every once in a while those who know me best know I’m most comfortable at a place that has killer burgers or BBQ and beer….and The Keg, I’ve never had a bad meal there.

Since I had so much fun linking up with Amanda last week I’m joining in the fun again!

Thinking-Out-Loud

1. One of our clients brought us in some farm fresh eggs the other day…as in hatched that very morning

Fresh eggs are just the best.

2. I’m convinced Tyson thinks he’s an ostrich

Whenever he’s in the snow he sniffs around and then buries his head in the snow. It gets me every time.

3. Speaking of Tyson, he’s made it a habit of stealing my spot on the couch

I can’t really get mad though, I mean, look at that face.

4. I tried getting a picture of this weird little shoulder vein action I’ve got going on on my right shoulder but failed miserably at capturing it on camera

Getting a non-blurry photo of your own arm while flexing and facing the camera towards you is hard. But hey, check out that bicep 😉

5. Like I mentioned in yesterday’s post, I’ve been trying out some new things on the diet front. I’m happy with how I look right now considering I’m not counting or measuring anything (and enjoying some pretty tasty food), but I want to lean out just a touch for some upcoming things (more info to come, but no I’m not doing another show)

6. I could eat tex-mex food almost every single day and not get sick of it. I love baked burritos.

7. If you’re looking for a natural and homemade fruit and veggie wash/spray here’s an easy ‘recipe’

8. I’m already annoyingly excited for valentines day.

In the 8+ years we’ve been together Steve and I have never actually gone out to celebrate valentines day, that’s just not our scene. We stay in, cook a delicious dinner together (not necessarily fancy) and drink some wine. It’s nothing crazy but I look forward to it every year.

9. I’ve had some requests to update my training & food log so I’m going to try and be better about it. The training part is easy, the food is another story. I think I over-complicate it by trying to always post pictures of everything so I’ll do my best to post the basics. Please keep in mind that I may not post every single thing I eat, that’s just too much. Plus I eat almost the same thing everyday during the week. Some were just looking for meal suggestions, which I’m happy to provide.

Edit  ***My theme is giving me major issues so until I get those sorted the calendar won’t show up, I’ll work on that tomorrow morning ***

10. I really enjoyed Kendrik Lamar and Imagine Dragons at the Grammy’s and was happy to find this remix online

This post was alllll over the place, sorry about that. Well, not really actually. I’ll check in with you guys tomorrow, now I’m off to train some awesome clients.

Eggs hatched that very morning? Omg that would be amazing. Clearly I need to befriend some farmers 😆 And I’m actually a huge fan of staying in and having date nights at home. It’s nice to get dressed up and go out every once in a while, but there’s just something so much more intimate and ‘natural’ about a low-key night with the person you love.

Farmer’s make great friends! They have tractors if you ever get your car stuck in the snow, fresh eggs, and usually cute dogs and barn cats. I can’t wait for our stay at home valentines….with wine 🙂
