Hey there! Long time no chat huh? That’s what I wanted to discuss today. You see the past month has been a little all over the place for me. We’ve had some things happen at the gym (good things, don’t worry) but it’s left us with extra work and hours being put in, especially because the university students will soon be returning home from school for the summer. Last summer at the gym was crazy busy and we’re expecting to be even busier this year.

With everything going on I’ve been finding it hard to turn off my brain at night. I’m usually a good sleeper, but I have been waking up throughout the night, tossing and turning and just not getting the quality sleep I know I need.  Also, every time I want to post on here, I feel like it’s not substantial enough to warrant a post because I don’t have much time in the day to sit and edit things. On top of that I just found out the replies I’ve been sending out to people haven’t been going through. So if you’re one of the people who emailed me in the past bit and never got a response I’m sooooooooo sorry! Please forgive me and give me a couple days to play catch up and resend them out!

I am only one person and there is only so much I can do in a day. I don’t have a normal job, I own a business which means you’re never really off the clock, you bring your work home, and the hours are long – and I absolutely love it! I wouldn’t trade what I do for anything. Some days my posts may be just a quick workout or recipe, other days they may be about nutrition or filling you in on what awesomeness I got up to on the weekend. Whatever I post about I’m not going to stress over it like I have been. I’m doing the best I can with the spare time I have. I really don’t know why I’ve been putting this pressure on myself when it comes to writing and am going to just write what I feel like on that particular day and I hope you’ll continue to read along.

Ok, so now that I’ve got that off my chest let’s do a little sharing.

I got new glasses!

I wear contacts all the time and my old glasses were really old (prescription wise) so these are wonderful. I ordered them from Zenni Optical and they cost me $30 including my prescription, anti-glare coating and shipping! Such a good deal.

Also, I have some kick ass ladies in my boot camp classes. I pride myself on running a unique bootcamp class and my girls never cease to amaze me with what they are capable of. Check out them pushing the prowler around at the end of their workout. They stayed late to keep going.

And because I promised I’d get this to you a little while ago and I finally got them done here are two awesome combos you can try right now! (Well….if you have room to get on the floor and won’t be looked at like a complete weirdo). The first one is a quick simple ab burner that you will definitely be feeling and the second is a 1 minute plank combo. There are two different variations for you to try out. Feel the burn!

Ok I’m off to make my man and I some pizza and popcorn as per our usual Thursday shenanigans. See you guys lata!

I love the new glasses! The last time I bought glasses was 5 years ago…. they cost $700!! I got nice frames but my eyes are so bad that my special lenses cost $400. I really need to buy a new pair but I’m worried about the cost! I know everything is 10x cheaper in London compared to Australia so I should just do it already!

I know, my last glasses were about $400! I hate spending money on things like that, which is probably why I delayed for so long. Looks like you are getting back to your old self in the gym which is awesome 🙂
