Hey hey! How was everyone’s weekend? Mine was busy and full of awesome. Saturday was the day of my photo shoot and I gotta admit…I woke up super nervous. I had clients in at 9:30 and the shoot started at 12. To maximize my time I put my hair in pillow rollers the night before so I just had to take those out and do my makeup.
Yes, I actually instructed my clients with this lovely silk bandana on my head.
Mark, the photographer, was great. Super easy to work with and made everything really fun. My mom also hung out and even helped with some of the lighting.
I’ll share all of the pictures once I get them back but it was an awesome experience and I’m so happy with how everything turned out. I’m definitely happy to not be counting macros anymore (I have a whole post on that coming) and that I didn’t sacrifice strength to try and lean out with only a couple weeks notice.
After a quick power nap after the shoot I was out the door again to meet up with my bridesmaids. It was our first time getting together as a group (and we totally forgot to get a picture..oops!) and we had an awesome girls night and figured out some wedding stuff. My sister in law Lauren had all of us over to her place and definitely out did herself with the champagne, wine, and delicious food.
It was an wonderful night and I can’t believe how incredibly lucky I am to have such amazing girls in my life.
Sunday was a lazy day – with a bit of a rough start to the morning haha – which included a walk with my favourite pup and some delicious homemade pizza for dinner.
