Oh hi there, it’s been a hot minute. As you can tell (hopefully) I’ve done some upgrading to Powerhouse Fit Foodie. I’ve got some things in the works and wanted to update the site while I had the chance. I was definitely not anticipating it taking as long as it did. I was completely locked out from my own site for almost 3 weeks! Eeep. Oh well, all is good in the world now and I promise to get right back to my regular posting (I was getting so good about keeping to a schedule before my unplanned hiatus).
When I typed the title out I could not help but think of this song:
I’m still working a few of the kinks but overall I’m happy with how things came out. It was hard for me to find a dark theme that I liked, it seems most bloggers prefer white/pink themes and I’m more of a black/blue person I guess. Always have to be different 😉
I’m really happy because my training and food log that so many of you were asking me for is actually working! The guy who helped with the site found this awesome calendar feature that should allow me to easily keep you updated on my training. If you hover over a date you’ll see what I’ve posted and if you actually click on the date you’ll be able to see everything I’ve posted for that day on one page. Please note that I will definitely not be posting everything I shove into my face (I tend to eat the same breakfast/lunch on repeat) and I can’t promise I’ll be able to update every single day. I will try and post as much as I can, even if I don’t write up a blog post that day.
So I hope you guys like the new look of the site, like I said, I have some new things I’m working on and will keep all of you updated as things unfold. I also have some pretty stellar recipes I’ve been working on including chocolatey oat protein cookies and a protein apple/berry crisp.
