Ola! It’s the weekend, yay! I don’t have a lot of chatting time so let’s get to it!



I have been a busy beaver these past few days. It seems I got bit by the organization bug and decided to re-organize the kitchen cupboards and the closet the past couple days. I love how clean and streamlined everything feels now. I LOVE the dollar store, definitely a fave.

I HATE laundry. I used to not mind doing it when I was in residence in university and now I just can’t stand it.



Side Ponytails


I love me a good side ponytail. It’s something a little different and can be kept casual or dressed up.

I used to rock the high side pony, a la Stephanie Tanner from full house. I also wore a scrunchie verrrrry similar to hers.


New Deadlift PR!

I nailed 300lbs…finally! It felt like my deadlift wasn’t making progress but I stuck it out and hit 300lbs! I’ll have a video to share next week :). I also managed to squat 195lbs x 3. It was a good week for lifting.

Confession…..ummmm I feel like a badass beast now and kind of want to tell everyone I meet that I can deadlift 300lbs (Like “Hi, I’m Chelsey and I can deadlift 300lbs” You know, slip it in reeeeal casual like). I’m really proud and can’t wait to hit 315lbs.

This Salad

I mentioned this in my last post and am still loving it! Basically I took all of my favourite pasta salad elements and just replaced the pasta with lightly steamed zucchini. It’s so refreshing and light and just screams summer to me.

For the past few weeks I haven’t been eating as many veggies as I should, like not close at all. This salad was a step to me rectifying that situation.

Color Me Rad

Tomorrow I’m doing the Color Me Rad 5km run with a few of my girlfriends and I can’t wait! We got our shirts, shades and tattoos already and I can’t wait to go get all colourful!

 I don’t enjoy running unless it’s sprints or trail runs or something like that. Running on a treadmill or running outside just for the sake of running is one of my least favourite things to do – so I don’t usually do it. Ever.

That’s it. That’s all I’ve got. Now go get after that weekend!

    Hey girl! I blog at moonfitness.net and I currently have some powerlifting goals. I used to compete in NPC but now im just focusing on my lifts. With that same WE MUST CONNECT! I gotta get your tips and pointers. We have similar body types so I’d love to know how you got to 300! That’s so impressive, good job. I’m stuck at 175! Hope to talk to you soon:)
