Well by easy I mean easy to come up with.

If you’re looking for a great way to finish off a workout without incorporating sprints or the elliptical (yuck) or sled drags try this out.

Take 2 exercise that utilize full body movements. Do 10 reps of 1, then 10 of the other. Alternate back and forth until you get all the way down to 1 rep of each.

If you want you can just pick a unilateral exercise (focus on each limb working independently of each other) and do each side of the body separately. Ex. clean & press doing 10 with the right hand, 10 with the left etc etc.

Some examples of full body movements include:

  • Burpees (love)
  • Clean & Press
  • Snatch
  • Med Ball Slams
  • Sledge Hammer Swings
  • Squat Jumps
  • Step Ups (you can add an overhead press at the top too)
  • Kettlebell swings

If you’re not up for 2 explosive movements then pick 1 and make the other something a little easier for yourself. You could do almost anything from pushups to squats to overhead presses.

You can change up the exercises to keep things interesting.

I love to time myself and then the next time I do the same 2 I either try to beat my time or (if I’m doing something with dumbbells) I up the weight and try to maintain my time.

Give it a shot. If you really push yourself you’ll build strength while getting in some killer conditioning.
