Hey there! I don’t have a lot of time before I must close this laptop so I’ll get right to it.
As a little pre-text – I’m currently sitting in darkness in my bedroom eating a bowl of oats and patting my eye. Ya, weird stuff.
Yesterday evening I was typing up this awesome post on working out in a motivating atmosphere and really pushing yourself and all this other good stuff when I noticed my right eye was really bugging me. I took my contacts our and continued to work but it just kept hurting so I powered down and called it a night.
Fast forward to this morning and I literally had to pry my eye open. It.was.disgusting. Ew. Since I woke up I’ve been increasingly light sensitive, especially natural light. If I look outside I can barely keep my still functioning eye open it hurts the other one so bad. Not to mention it makes it water all gross like.
I got my awesome mom to chauffeur me to the dr’s office (and the bank, Service Ontario and the pharmacy) so that I could get it all looked at. I have some sort of infection and have to put drops in every 4 hours (morning and throughout the night) for the first 2 days and then continue with them for another 5 days after that but only 4 times a day and I can sleep through the night. I also have to rock my glasses only of at least a week.
So ya….that’s what I’m dealing with. I’m hoping that I can at least handle the light tomorrow morning and that these drops help out so I can get back at it. For now I’m just rocking the librarian look and constantly involuntarily winking (and it’s a total creeper wink too).
I hope everyone is rocking their workouts this week. I’m happy I lifted Monday and Tuesday (I’m so sore from my military press work yesterday). Get out there and get after it!
