Amy and I went through a bench session together and I thought I would video it for you guys. I really need someone to follow me around with a camera, it would make my life soooo much easier!
Here’s the workout breakdown at a glance:
1. Med ball overhead throw – 3×8
2 a) Bench Press – 85×3 95×3 110×3
b) Chin Ups 3 x 3
3 a) DB Row – 5×12
b) DB Incline Bench – 5×12
c) Rope Facepull – 5×12
Finisher: 10-1 clean & press with prowler suicides in between
I am making really steady gains with my bench press, finally! I seemed to hit a sticking point a couple months ago and since then I’ve been continually improving. I think it was more of a mental thing than anything else. I just kept pushing on and it paid off. There will be points during your fitness journey where you may get stuck, but just keep working at it, don’t quit, and it will come.
