SooooOOOooo excited! I’ve finally done something I’ve been working on for MONTHS now! I can finally bench with the big plates (which also happens to be my bodyweight). Benching my bodyweight has been a goal of mine for close to a year now.
When I first started benching the bar felt heavy to me. Slowly but surely I’ve been building up and now that I’ve hit this goal I just can’t wait to keep pushing it!
I also nailed 2 sets of 10 chin ups today and 1 set of 8. I was so giddy the rest of my workout. There is no better feeling than hitting a personal record, especially one that’s taken you a long time to achieve.
